PREPARE FOR CHIRISTMAS

Thanksgivingが終わったと思ったら、クリスマスの準備が始まった。
街が暗くなると、赤や緑に光が灯ったウッドデッキや、暖かい色のオーナメントが色鮮やか。
まだちらほらとだけれど、町並みが一段と綺麗になってきていて心が弾む。
それにしても、アメリカの家庭にはこうした電飾やオーナメントの類が良く映える。
日本の瓦屋根や、格式張ったアルミサッシの窓みたいな殺風景な雰囲気では実現できない光景だと思う。

玄関をくぐるたびに「クリスマスが近づいてる！」と思って過ごすのかとおもうと
もしアメリカの家庭で育っていたとしたら、毎年のクリスマスが楽しみで仕方がなくなるだろうだろうな。

Thanksgiving was over, but preparation for Christmas began soon.
When the sun goes down, lights on the wooded deck with red and green, and the ornaments in warm colors are very colorful and pretty.
It was still quite a few, but the cityscape has been becoming more beautiful, and it makes my mind bounce.
Even so, American style house's electric decoration and ornaments are perfectly matched.
I realized it was impossible in Japanese's house. Japanese house use kawara as loof tiles and the window flame are classified aluminum.

Every time I went through the road near my host house, I think "Christmas is approaching!"
If I had been raised in an American family, I guess it will be more fun every year for Christmas.
