ESSAYS IN IDLENESS

IN PORTLAND WITH A LITTLE JETLAG

The first charm I found in this cloudy town, Portland might be the beauty of the sunset after the rain.
It seemed like pictures of Stephen Shore's "Uncommon Places" that was known to New Color photography.
His pictues have been burned in my mind, so I could feel that the color of the building in Portland was different from Japan.

I walked through the residential areas,  superb electronic stores and supermarkets, While being moved heartedly
I thought "I hope I won't want to get used to this sight," I am worried about the familiarity that will come someday.
